Pacemaker Editorial

Am I the only one that finds it annoying when news articles refer to other implanted devices as "pacemakers?" You see phrases like "pacemaker for pain" or "epilepsy pacemaker". I understand they're trying to relate it to something that is more well known, but to me it is misleading. A pacemaker "keeps the pace." It's all about maintaining timing. I know I'm nitpicking, but when I run a Google search to find the latest news, it's annoying to have to sift through articles that aren't really about pacemakers.
